sieve

The why

The internet should feel like home.

We're more ourselves when we consume the things we actually want to — not whatever gets thrust upon us by the algorithms of big-tech platforms. Somewhere along the way, the internet stopped being a place you went and became a thing that happened to you: a feed you fell into, tuned for someone else's engagement numbers.

sieve is here to help you find your home on the internet, in whatever format that might take. We do it in two moves: first we help you discover and prioritize your interests — the big loves, the niche obsessions, the things you'd forgotten you cared about. Then we recommend places on the internet you might actually like, based on those interests.

For example

  • If you're a flash-fiction writer, we'll find you writing communities on Substack.
  • If you're an AI startup founder, we'll find you thought advisors on X.
  • If you're an underground hiphophead, we'll find you songs worth listening to — and the blogs recommending them.

Because you're more you when you're doing the things you actually want to.

That's the whole pitch. No infinite scroll, no engagement traps — just a short conversation about what you love, and a map to the corners of the internet where people love it too.
